Customers who stock product in an inventory will often need to create lists of product to reorder based on what was used. They will create the lists by scanning barcodes associated with the products needed, export the list and upload to Ferguson Online. When a customer wants to create an order list with a scanner, there is no mobile option.Project Goals

The Solution
As Portfolio Product Manager, my responsibilities are to define the overall strategic goals of Ferguson’s mobile initiatives. I provided the goals and expectations for how and where Ferguson could find opportunities in the mobile app space. I assigned the tactical execution to my product owner team and removed roadblocks that hindered their progress. SKU by Ferguson cuts the time the customer spend on preparing orders by turning your mobile device’s camera into a barcode scanner. It keep a running list of the products stocked in thier warehouse or truck for quick reordering. . Lists can be saved and emailed to purchasing manager.
